Our smallest Mutt of the Month recipient so far! This boy may be small, but even the little guys can benefit from muzzle training to help everyone feel safe, comfortable, and to work on confidence-building.
Mack is currently being cared for by Mutt Life Safe Haven Inc. Here’s what they have to say about him!
“We would like to formally introduce everyone to 3 year old Mack. He is currently working on his training to be able to find his forever home, unfortunately it would have to be without any other pets or children under 16.
Unfortunately Mack found himself in our care after some not so favorable issues in his former home, which has led him to act out in fear and biting a child.
Mack loves to play fetch and will do almost anything for a treat. He is making great progress in his current foster home, but would do even better if he can receive more one on one attention as the only pet, and to know love does not hurt.
Mack has gotten so much better with his kennel aggression in and out of the kennel. With the slow proper introduction he enjoys being around other dogs outside for short periods of time. Inside the house is a different story, he can only tolerate being around other dogs for 4 hours at a time.
Mack is determined to continue on this positive path to find his forever home.
