https://donorbox.org/mia-s-mutt-of-the-month-leo-barc-ctThis beautiful boy with the big smile comes from BARC CT and is our final Mutt of the Month for 2024!!! Thank you to everyone who donated, shared and supported our mission of helping twelve rescue dogs this year, some of which have since been adopted.
As a last effort to help rescue pups for this year, we will be selling 2025 calendars with all this year’s Mutts of the Month featured, and 100% of proceeds will be donated to the rescue which brought me my two, Cause 4 Paws Toronto . I’m so grateful to have my two in my life and it is all thanks to the efforts that these folks have made. We will be creating a separate post with more details soon so please keep an eye out for that!
Back to Leo! Leo is the kind of guy who in the right home, would be an absolutely wonderful part of the family. Here’s what the rescue has to say about him:
“MEET LEO!
Leo is the definition of a “rescue”.. He has SO many saviors.
Leo was rescued by BARC CT in 2020. After being placed into a foster home with another dog, it was quickly realized that while he is GREAT with all people including children, he was not able to be integrated with other animals.
Leo is around 6 years old. He is neutered and up to date on shots.
Leo is a very intelligent! He is professionally trained to a T.
He was cared for and trained by one of the best dog trainers in New England!
Huge shout out to @BrittneySouza @ThisIsTheWayDogTraining for getting him to where he is today. He wouldn’t be incredible dog he is without her.
Leo is currently living as a long term foster at @KesslerKennelFarms, thanks to the kind heart and generosity of owner @LindsayRinaldi.
At the farm, Leo has a dedicated handlers who love him to pieces! They want to expand his horizons with trail walks and time outside the kennel environment.
Thanks to @Mia’s Muzzles, that can now become a reality!!!
If you are still reading and have come to the end of this post, please share Leo!
He is so wonderful in so many ways.
For further information/details about Leo’s adoption requirements, or how to help other dogs like Leo in need, please reach out to @BARCCT directly.”
We truly hope that all of Leo’s wishes of finding a forever home can come true this holiday season!!
