Mutt of the Month
Mia’s Mutt of the Month program will see a custom muzzle made and donated to a rescue or foster dog in need each month. There are many dogs who are overlooked as is but dogs with any history of reactivity, regardless of the circumstances, can end up staying months or even years in shelters or bounced around foster homes. With a properly fit and non-threatening looking muzzle, the hope is that it may just make potential adopters more comfortable knowing this pup already has the training and tools to handle a difficult situation should it arise.
Each dog and their rescue will be featured on this page, and the opportunity to donate towards the cost of each dog’s muzzle at the bottom of their profile.
If you are a shelter or rescue organization and have a dog that may benefit from this program, please get in touch with the shelter/dog information to be added to the list.
